Pada tahun 2018 SMK KORPRI Sumedang mendapatkan akreditasi dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah (BAN-SM) dengan raihan predikat A. Raihan akreditasi ini berdasarkan pada Surat Keputusan Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah dengan Nomor 02.00/203/SK/BAN-SM/XII/2018 tertanggal 4 Desember 2018
Sebagai sebuah sekolah kejuruan, SMK KORPRI Sumedang menyediakan beberapa jurusan yang bisa dipilih oleh siswanya. Jurusan atau program keahlian yang tersedia di SMK KORPRI Sumedang sebanyak empat jurusan yaitu program keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan dan program keahlian Teknik Bisnis Sepeda Motor, program keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik serta program keahlian Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak .
